Metropia is a short adventure/parkour game created for Patient73 Game Jam 2024.

The game is about helping a powerful AI create cures for rare diseases.

There are disks surrounding Metropia which the AI can decode find those disks and the information on it and create cure for rare diseases!

Incorporation of theme

The game uses the theme of Artificial Intelligence as both a mechanism of the game and for the development of the project, Artificial Intelligence was used on creating the soothing voice overs of the game and AI was used greatly on researching the diseases found on the game's collectible disks.

The goal of the game is to create awareness towards rare diseases by giving the players information about the rare diseases as they pick up the disks which are crucial towards finishing the game. 

Tips & Controls

Use WASD Keys to move.

Hold left shift while moving to run.

Sprint along the walls in air to perform Wall Run and Carefully Jump on the jumping pads to lift yourself up.

Use the radar system located on top of the HUD to locate each disk.

Visual Downgrade

As the game was shipped for web the post processing of the game simply choose not to work, downgrading the visual of the game quite a lot from its PC counterpart but I hope you guys enjoy the game in on itself and have fun!
